Our Very Own Hero

We are so very proud of our patient William Murray. On March 6th, 2013 William pulled a man out of a burning suv and saved his life. William is a intern at the Clark County Fire and Rescues Woodland station him and another intern were already in fire gear when they started pulling the hose toward the burning suv. William started pulling tall bushes away from the suv while his teammate started fighting the fire. William open the passenger door (driver door was inaccessible) he didn't find the passenger so he reached in further and when he did he found the victim Robert Sieglitz ,42. Robert was not wearing a seat belt so William was able to pull him out of the vehicle quickly.

There was an article in the Columbian about William and his brave team. The link is below. Go and check it out!!

On that note, we here at Dr. Brown's, thank those who put their lives on the line for us everyday so we can be safe.

Annie Warbucks

It is always exciting to have our patients tell us they are auditioning for a play at the Journey Theater Arts Groups, this year the group performed their adaptation of Little Orphan Annie, called Annie Warbucks. Every time we know someone is auditioning we send them on their way with lots of luck! Sometimes all that talent with a little bit of our luck pays off. One of our patients Annika was apart of the production. Annika helped create the beautiful props for the shows and helped make the show what it was. Another patient Sarah audition for the roll of Grace Farrel, Daddy Warbucks Assistant. Not only did she get the part but we were told she rocked it!
Annie ran on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's for 2 weeks. The show was held at Washburn Performing Arts Center in Washougal, WA.
The Journey Theater Arts Group's next prduction will be HONK! It is based off of The Ugly Duckling by Hans Christain Andersen. Hopefully we will see some familliar faces in this show too.

Our beautiful patient Elizabeth is working her tail off this summer. When most kids are out playing in the sun and getting away from their grueling schedules Elizabeth is running towards one, or should I say jete. Like the article says; Elizabeth traveled to Seattle to audition for the American Ballet Theater's Summer Intensive Program. ABT has 5 different program sites ranging from coast to coast. Elizabeth will be attending the 4 week program held in Austin, Texas at the University of Texas.

We are so very proud of you Elizabeth and we can not wait to hear all about it and see pictures.
